Throughout my life, I have done so many different things. In 1992, I graduated from Agua Fria High School in Avondale and started working for KVVA Radio Viva and providing a Spanish simulcast for a news program.
I worked for Radio KVVA until 1995 and then went to work for Univision as a master control operator and started hosting my own music show on KSUN, Radio Fiesta.
Also in 1995, I went to and I started at Estrella Community College and got my associate’s in communications and then began taking classes to get my bachelor’s in journalism.
I have always been very open to new opportunities and I believe that anyone can accomplish anything they want in life.
I had in mind as a second career being a stylist and some day having my own business in the field. In 2005, I attended Maricopa Beauty College to study cosmetology and graduated in 2006.
I am very happy to be working for Channel 12 as the SAP Spanish Translator for Arizona Nightly News weekdays at 6 p.m. I appreciate the opportunity to do what I like best: translating the news.
I am currently also working for KSUN as a radio announcer. In the future, I hope to do my job well and learn more every day to do it better. I would also like to go back to ASU and continue my education, since education is endless and there is always something new to learn.
