Jan D'Atri has been an Arizona treasure for 25 years. She joined Arizona Midday in November 2003. Her positive attitude and ability to connect with people gives Arizona Midday a spark of excitement that translates throughout the show. Jan cooks up special dishes each week and continuously adds unique segments to her show responsibilities.

When people meet Jan the first adjective that comes to mind is "energy". This lady is everywhere! Jan has an accomplished career doing what she loves: "offering great ideas, products, people and projects that enrich and empower lives!"

Jan was born and raised in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Jan considers her mother one her biggest influences. She earned her journalism degree at the University of Nevada, Reno and attended the Conservatories of Music at San Francisco and Victoria, British Columbia for music.

Jan is a three-time Rocky Mountain Emmy Award winning journalist. She has earned a International Film Festival award, Telly award, Humanitarian of the Year award from The Arizona Humane Society and The Gabriel Award. In 2003, Jan was named one of 25 Awesome Arizonans. Jan hosted and produced several documentaries, on issues important to her, including The Humane Society, Drunk Driving, Make A Wish Foundation, Dalai Lama and Rights of the Disabled. She also is a successful pianist!

When she is not working, Jan enjoys her home life, which includes fly-fishing, flying airplanes, 15 barnyard animals and hanging out with family and friends.
