I graduated from ASU with a broadcast journalism degree, lived in 3 states in 4 years, and got to interview everyone from Al Michaels, Vince Vaughn, Willie Nelson, and Rascal Flatts! In my spare time, I hang out with my super sweet shiatsu C.C. (named after Connie Chung), I play tennis, golf, and volleyball and love being outdoors! Also, I'm a sports fanatic, and my goal this year to is create an all girls fantasy football league!

Favorite Moment in Broadcasting: I've had many, my first was meeting Walter Cronkite in an intimate meeting with a few other ASU students. Another was when I got to meet Vince Vaughn, he's one of my favorite comedians! Another, when I was reporting in Lubbock, we had an Amber Alert and thanks to our coverage, the 3-day old baby was returned safely to her family.

Hidden Talent: I use to be a junior Olympic roller skater, and a magic assistant. I also love to sing karaoke!

Why you decided to work in TV: It has been my life-long dream. My 3rd grade teacher thought I was creative writer and sent me to "bear essential news for kids" workshop where I learned to write like a real reporter! I always tell people journalism was my first love!

Where else you have worked: Tri-Cities, WA KEPR and Lubbock, TX KCBD

What you love about living in Arizona: The weather! I say hot all the way! It's nice to call my friends across the country and tell them I am at the pool in March!

First Story Reported: Minimum wage in Washington state was the highest in the nation at $7.25/ hour! I interviewed a car wash business that was changing their $5 wash to $6 to make up for the difference.

Awards Received: SPJ 1st place: political reporting, SPJ feature award, Fellowship for education reporting

Your First Job: Ever, was baby-sitting, then I worked at "Great Skate" as a floor guard and snack bar girl at just 14!

What People Would Never Guess About You: I am related to a President, John Quincy Adams

Your Heritage: My dad's side is German/ Polish my dad was a 3rd generation American, my mom's side goes way back to Europe... basically, I'm a Heinz 57.

Your Biggest Pet Peeve: Flaky people, if you say you're going to do something, just do it. I think it is very rare to find a reliable friend anymore, so when I get one, I hang on tight!

Your Prized Possession: My pictures, they are the one thing I would take if I had a fire
