Looking for a job?

The job market is tough right now but there are some options available for job seekers, according to Maricopa Workforce Connections.

They're seeing record numbers of job seekers walk through their doors, a 100 percent increase over last year, but that's good news for industry - plenty of talent to pick from!

MWC's services are free for companies and those looking for jobs. Go to one of two locations in the west or east Valley, or check them out on line and they'll help people who have been laid off or just need to re-career. Which means, take their skills and turn them in a different direction. They sponsor and partcipate in job fairs, the next one happening Wednesday, October 1, at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Industry still actively seeking workers: healthcare (not just nursing but accounting, IT and more), aerospace, and there are two warehouses opening in the West Valley which will need hundreds of workers each over the next month.
