1 pound whole wheat pasta
1 1/2 c chopped ham
1 1/2 c frozen peas
3c low fat milk
1c low fat shredded cheddar cheese
1c. shredded swiss cheese
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/4c bread crumbs
2 tbls. butter, melted
Cook pasta for 6 minutes, then drain. In casserole dish, combine pasta, ham and peas. Heat milk to simmering in saucepan; take off burner, add cheeses and pepper. Stir until melted. Pour cheese mixture over pasta mixture and mix until coated. Combine butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over the top of casserole. Place in oven and cook for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 8 servings.
