Employee Volunteerism

Whether its spending lunch tutoring a child, writing Salvation Army Angel tags, donating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, or hosting a picnic for the crisis nurseries, Republic employees give back to the community. The Arizona Republic organizes a wide array of volunteer activities for employees. Below are just a few examples of these volunteer projects.

Garfield Elementary School/School-Based Mentoring

At the Arizona Republic, we're focused on education. That's why Arizona Republic employees volunteer their time tutoring students at Garfield Elementary School in downtown Phoenix. Employees spend their lunch hours helping students with reading, homework and library projects. It's part of our commitment to ensuring today's kids become tomorrow's leaders.

Walk to End Domestic Violence
