Police seek Ahwatukee Circle K robber

Phoenix police are looking for a man who robbed an Ahwatukee convenience store late Monday.

At about 11:48 p.m., a man with long-barrel handgun came into the Circle K convenience store at 4728 E. Ray Road and asked the clerk for money, Sgt. Leonard Pinuelas said.

After the clerk gave the man $100, he walked out of the store and headed east.

Police searching the area were unable to find him, Pinuelas said.

The man appeared to be in his 20s and wore black clothes and a black beanie, Pinuelas said.
