Teen killed, 3 others injured in Phoenix shooting

A 17-year-old boy was killed, and two men and one other teenager were hurt, after gunmen entered a Phoenix home Tuesday night and opened fire on the four victims.

The shooting occurred around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday at a home near 33rd and Northern avenues.

Police were still searching for three suspects, all believed to be teenagers.

The teen, Trevor Metheny, died at the scene, and the other three victims were taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. One man, 62, was in critical condition, while the two others were still in the hospital but in stable condition.

Police said while the incident was still under investigation, it appeared the situation may have been drug-related.
