New home for Starlight Community Theatre

For its fourth season, the theater for children, youth and adults, has relocated to a suite in the northwestern corner of the Outlets at Anthem.

The arrangement is less expensive than renting space from the school district, provides better access for pre-production, and flexibility in staging, said director Barbara L. Surloff.

The season calendar includes works by Neil Simon, a couple of musicals and a talent show.

"We have something for everyone now," said Surloff. "It's a potpourri for everyone to enjoy."

Where: Suite 315, the Outlets at Anthem.

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 10 and 11, 2 p.m. Sunday and Oct. 12.

Cost: Adults, $12 in advance, $15 at door; age 12 and under, $8 in advance, $10 at door. Students with ID receive $2 off door price.

Friday's debut is a champagne benefit for Starlight's fourth season. State Rep. Sam Crump will kick off the evening at 6:30 p.m. with drinks and appetizers and desserts will be served at intermission. Tickets for this limited-seating event are $35.
