24-year-old man shot behind nightclub Sunday

A 24-year-old man was shot in a parking lot behind a nightclub early Sunday morning.

Phoenix Police Officers were called around 2:15 a.m. for a drive-by shooting near the 400 block of South Second Street

Sgt. Andy Hill said the victim and his brother were standing with a group of people by their car when a passenger of a passing car leaned out and shot at the victim. The vehicle fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.
