Restaurants are already booking for Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations.
At Lon's at The Hermosa in Paradise Valley, Chef Michael Rusconi will create a multi-course Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners.
A Christmas children's menu will be offered for kids 12 years and younger.
Dinners are $65 per person and are offered from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 24; and 2 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 25.
Lon's New Year's Eve dinner is $85 for the first seating starting at 5:30 p.m. and $125 for second seating beginning at 7:45 p.m. which includes a champagne toast to ring in the New Year.

The Americans for Prosperity Foundation is having an event on Saturday called "Arizona's Defending the American Dream Summit."
There will be a hot air balloon, which represents what organizers say is all the hot air in the energy debate.
It starts at 8 a.m. at the El Zaribah Shriner Auditorium, 552 N. 40th St.
The cost is $20 for individuals, $30 for families, $120 for a table of eight, and it includes lunch.

Learn about fair-housing practices and laws at a free workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday. Other classes are Dec. 18 and Dec. 30.
