The Valley's priciest home sales

Two tax attorneys, the president of an engineering services company in Chicago and a vice president of First Solar Inc. in Tempe are among the buyers and sellers in this week's priciest home sales.

$6,200,000.

618 LLC, an Arizona limited liability company whose sole member is Thomas W. Bade, as trustee of the Phoenix Trust, purchased this seven bedroom, 6 ½ bath, 8,879-square-foot home, which includes a guest house, pool and four-car garage. The property is on the east side of Paradise Valley Country Club in Paradise Valley. It features a large master area with large bath and closets, library near the master, open kitchen family room with mountain views, a children's wing with spacious ensuite bedrooms and media/game room. The yard features a barbecue with all the trimmings.Thomas Bade is a certified tax-specialist attorney practicing in Arizona and Minnesota. The home was sold by Lost Dutchman Investments whose members are Mark Sunquist, as managing member of Omega Land Investments and Josh and Julie Pulliam, as sole members of Doheney Land Investments LLC. Josh and Julie Pulliam, president and vice president of Pulliam Custom Homes Inc., built the home.

It features charming courtyards, three fireplaces and an outside fire pit. It includes a den/office, bonus/game room, guest quarters with separate entrance and an exercise/sauna room. Matthew Urrea is a tax attorney practicing in Albuquerque. The home was sold by David and Linda Lange, as trustees of the Lange Family Trust Agreement.

It features hints of authentic French architecture and design with 200-year-old limestone carved fireplaces, antique chandeliers, stone arches and columns, driftwood beams and Venetian plaster. Mark Sundquist is president of STS Hydropower Ltd., an engineering services company in Chicago. The home was sold by Thomas W. Bade, as trustee of the Phoenix Trust, sole member of 618 LLC, as part of the payment for the $6.2 million cost of the home above.

Igor Paul Kacir and his wife, Pamela, paid cash for a new five bedroom, seven bath, 8,612- square-foot home with heated pool and spa originally built on three acres within the gated community of Whisper Rock Estateson the east side of the Whisper Rock Golf Club in Scottsdale. The two-room guest casita includes kitchenette and private courtyard entrance. I. Paul Kacir, an attorney, is vice president and corporate secretary of First Solar Inc. in Tempe. The home was sold by Daniel and Paige Wheeler.

Schuttler, as trustee of the TCS Trust, purchased a six bedroom, 5 ½ bath, 6,635- square-foot home with heated diving pool and spa originally built in 2005 northwest of the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Resort in Peoria. Petrice "T.C." Schuttler is a philanthropist who founded For Those Without a Voice, an Arizona non-profit to improve the quality of life for both children and animals The home was sold by Matthew and Angela Holeman.
