Right after the F.Q. Story tour ends, the Stroll on 7th Street begins about a mile and a half away.
The Coronado Neighborhood Association is sponsoring the Stroll on 7th Street from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday as part of the Seventh on Seventh series of events.
The stroll is a community gathering to celebrate holiday decorations along Seventh Street and will feature holiday music, drinks and food. Neighborhood volunteers will participate in the decorating along Seventh Street prior to the event.
Participating businesses include La Piccola Cucina, Olive Anne, Salon 7, MacAlpines, Coronado Café and Trente Cinq. The evening includes an appearance by Santa at MacAlpines, luminarias and the raffling of a neighborhood decorated tree that was donated by Whithill Nursery.
Among the musical acts are the Emerson Elementary School Choir, the North Valley Chorale and a classical ensemble.
Attendees are asked to bring canned or packaged foods to help support the Jewish Family Children's Services food drive, which hopes to provide holiday food boxes for more than 100 families.
The stroll will be along Seventh Street from Monte Vista Road to Sheridan Street, with neighborhood welcome booths and food drop points at America's Taco Shop and Lisa G's Wine Bar.
There is no charge for the event.
