Beef up security with quality glass film

Submitted by Lisa Schneider-Cipriano of Discount Media Buying

First Impression Security Doors Inc., a local family owned custom ornamental ironwork and gate company has been nationally and locally certified to install a protection film from LLumar, the world's best-selling brand of glass treatments film.

"We wanted to provide our commercial and residential clients with the most amount of security as possible," said Tim Cornelius, owner of First Impression Security Doors. "Since glass, in many cases, is your weakest link, we did a lot of research to find the world's best manufacture of security glass & window film and I am excited to add this to our list of security products. Bringing products in like this is what makes us different from our competitors. In addition, we locally fabricate our steel and ironwork vs. importing them."

A product mostly available for bomb & blast-prone structures, severe weather areas, or federal and government buildings has been re-mastered and affordably priced for commercial as well as residential applications.

"Earlier this year, this product successfully passed a series of governmental hurricane, bomb and blast testings," said Shawn Goodwin, Director of Commercial Business for First Impression Security Doors.

"We are confident our clients will feel a great sense of security when applying this product on their windows and doors. The first protection feature is a dramatic increase in the glass strength, by as much as 150 percent. The second protection feature is the elastic property. If the glass is broken the security film will continue to hold the glass shards in place like a protective net. Should the attack continue, the security film is capable of stretching and deforming up to 150 percent of the film's original size. This means a 24 by 24 inch window could reshape to approximately 36 by 36 inches in size."

Price for this film on an average home would be $1,500-$1,800.

Also available is a graffiti guard and glass film. This product can be used on almost any smooth surface to protect against graffiti and other types of vandalism.

First Impression Security Doors, Inc. has consultants in most of the major cities within the state of Arizona. More information: 480-924-1104 or www.FirstImpressionSecurityDoors.com.
