Submitted by Karen Kahn of Abrakadoodle Art Education.

Abrakadoodle Art Education will be offering a new set of class sessions through the Town Of Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department, beginning the week of July 7.

These imaginative programs are designed in a variety of fun themes for children ages 6-14 to enliven summer break with activities that inspire creativity. Children will delight in exploring a range of art materials.

"Digital Doodles" is a unique art program that teaches children about digital photography, photo printing and how to set-up a digital photo, while also learning about a variety of other media. Students even learn how to use digital photography in artwork.

"Ansel Adams, William Wegman, Dali and Chagall will guide and inspire our students," said Mary Rogers, co-founder and CEO for Abrakadoodle. "The best part is that our classes are completely kid-friendly."

Digital Doodles will be offered at Freestone Recreation Center, located at 1141 E Guadalupe Road. Classes begin July 10 at 11 a.m.Class fee is $65 plus a $15 materials fee.

Freestone Recreation Center will also offer the popular class "Drawing Basics," a series of introductory lessons to drawing for children ages 6-12. Class fee is $50 plus a $10 materials fee.
