The non-profit group Wildhorse Ranch Rescue will have a fall yard and bake sale hosted by Girl Scout Troup 650.
The yard and bake sale will be at the ranch Saturday with all proceeds designated to help WHRR's rescue herd of horses and mules.
Girl Scout Troop 650 is doing its part to help the rescue herd at WHRR and has a goal of selling as many items as possible to help the herd. There will be a variety of items from which to choose.
It's also a great way to get extra items and gifts for your holiday shopping with the holidays so close. . And don't forget to come on by for some delicious baked goods that will be for sale.
. Shoppers also can visit the onsite gift shop or take barn tours of the rescue herd, which includes Granpa's Charlee, a former racehorse, and former U.S. Forest Service mules Rufus and JoJo.
"We are so grateful to Girl Scout Troop 650 for wanting to help our rescue horses and mules, WHRR secretary Rhona Melsky said. "They'll be putting in a hard day's work with WHRR Board Director Ida Meadors to help bring in funds to help us continue to feed and care for our herd."
Proceeds benefit homeless, abused and neglected horses and mules.
