Woman sought in armed purse snatching

Police are looking for a woman suspected of snatching a purse at gunpoint in downtown Scottsdale.

The robbery took place at Goldwater Avenue and Marshall Street early Wednesday afternoon, Scottsdale police said.

The suspect fled in an early 1990s light tan Toyota Corolla, according to Officer Dave Pubins. Police are looking for the woman and the driver of the vehicle.

No further information was immediately available.
