Attic catches fire at 2-story home

SCOTTSDALE - Fire crews battled an attic fire in a two-story house Tuesday morning, officials said.

Twenty-five Scottsdale firefighters were dispatched at 11:15 a.m. to a home in the 10700 block of North 101st Place, fire spokeswoman Tiffani Nichols said.

The family was home at the time, but was able to get out safely, Nichols said.

At about 11:45 a.m., the fire was reported to be out, she said. There was no official cause or damage estimate.

No injuries were reported.
