SCOTTSDALE - Police, using a tip from a citizen, arrested two people suspected of attempting to burglarize a car.
A witness called 911. Police arrested Jonathan I. Edgington, 32, of Scottsdale, and Lyndsey D. Muska, 29, of Phoenix, after a traffic stop at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and 100th Street.
Edgington was reported to have been seen entering a 2008 Lincoln Navigator at 8:32 a.m. on Sunday in a CVS/pharmacy parking lot at 15252 N. 100th St., police said. When the car's alarm went off, Edgington ran to his car, which was parked nearby with Muska waiting in it, police said.
During the traffic stop, police found burglary tools in the suspect's car, police said.
A glass pipe and a brown crystalline substance was found on Muska, police spokesman Sgt. Mark Clark said. She also had three felony warrants.
Both suspects were booked and held in custody.
Nothing was reported missing from the Navigator, which was not damaged during the incident.
