Hornbeck earns salute from parent

SCOTTSDALE - The Scottsdale Unified School District is highlighting Cherokee Elementary School fourth-grade teacher Pam Hornbeck.

Here's what parent Hazel MacMillan had to say about her.

"Pam Hornbeck is an outstanding teacher at Cherokee Elementary School and has taught fourth grade to all three of my children," MacMillan said. "I have seen firsthand the time and effort she puts into her classroom and how much she cares about her students. My kids have been blessed to have had the opportunity to experience her kindness and her teaching skills in her classroom."

Achievements: Scottsdale Charros Teacher of the Year Award.
