It's time for farmers markets to return

SCOTTSDALE - Farmers markets are coming into season.

That includes Scottsdale, where the farmers market on Market Street at DC Ranch returns Saturday. Market Street is on the southeastern corner of Thompson Peak Parkway and Pima Road.

Chefs from well-known restaurants on Market Street will host weekly cooking demonstrations in the vibrant, open-air atmosphere. Chefs from Autostrada, Sol y Sombra and Ice House will kick off the season by providing guests with cooking tips and tastings. Patrons also will enjoy vendor offerings like fresh organic produce, flowers, fresh herbs, hand-crafted artisan jewelry, home accents, gourmet chocolates, children's clothing, fine art, and more.
