Families pinching pennies this season get the chance to see the two-mile Arizona Celebration of Lights display in Glendale on Monday night for free.
On "Economic Relief Night," attendees will enjoy the 7 million lights, 300 holiday exhibits, five drive-through light tunnels and holiday music, without the regular fee of $10 per car on weeknights and $12 per car on weekends and holidays.
Participants are asked to donate to one of the event's charities: canned food for St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, toys for Prison Fellowship's Angel Tree Program or money for Salvation Army and Arizona Republic Charities.
The event is open from 6-9 p.m. at the Community Church of Joy campus off Loop 101 and 75th Avenue.
