Auxiliary's home tour next week

Take Sun Health Auxiliary's Holiday Home Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday for a variety of home decorating ideas and continental tastes of the season.

Guests will tour six fully decorated homes in Sun City Grand and Sun City West, plus a motorhome. Each home will showcase the owners tastes with imaginative samplings of hors d'oeuvres and libations from around the world. Tickets are $25 per person.

Concurrently, the Sun Health Auxiliary will offer its holiday boutique at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center's auditorium, inside the Louisa Kellam Center for Women's Health, 14502 Meeker Blvd., Sun City West. Proceeds are earmarked for the purchase of a surgical Luxtec Headlight System.

Home tour tickets can be purchased in the Volunteer Services offices and gift shops at Banner Boswell and Del E. Webb medical centers, the Sun City West thrift shop, and at the concierge desk at the Chaparral Center in Sun City Grand. Ticket requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.

Center invites seniors to 'Carol'

The Surprise Senior Center has tickets available for its Dec. 10 bus trip to see the stage production of A Christmas Carol: The Musical at the Arizona Broadway Theatre in Peoria. Tickets are $58 for Surprise residents, $60 for non-residents, and include transportation, a full-course luncheon and matinee show.

Women's club schedules luncheon

"Yo, Cinderella! Seven dwarfs are here for dinner!" is the luncheon theme for the Dec. 12 gathering of the Sun City West/Surprise Christian Women's Club Connecting Women.

An "Easy Recipe for the Photo-Perfect Table" will be featured, plus a "fashion show" of ideas for setting an alluring table with what you have on hand. The guest speaker's address: "Life Is More Than Fairy Tales."

Admission to the noon luncheon at the Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N. 135th Ave., Sun City West, is $21 per person. Reservations are required by next Saturday and can be made by calling 623-594-6394 or 623-556-8117.
