Pollster to address local Democrats Larry Levinson, president of the Grand Democrats, has announced that Bruce Merrill, professor emeritus at Arizona State University and a national polling expert, will share his analysis of the 2008 Arizona election results.

Bruce Merrill started the KAET/Channel 8 survey in 1990 in conjunction with the ASU Cronkite School of Journalism. The monthly poll explores voters' opinions statewide on political and social issues of the day. Merrill is an expert on public opinion in Arizona.WHAT

Merrill will explain how he accounts for the voting behavior in the Arizona elections. He will talk about polling questions, who is in the sample, and why polls work - or don't. This is an opportunity to hear someone who is nationally recognized for the integrity of his research. WHEN
