Buckeye district seeks logo design ideas

Buckeye Elementary School District is asking community members to submit new logo designs to represent the district. The deadline is Dec. 19.

Logos can be submitted to the district office or emailed to jbaker@besd.k12.az.us. School colors can be found online at besd.k12.az.us. Information: Julie Baker at 623-386-4487 Ext. 119.

All submissions must include a name and phone number.

Marching band honored

The Buckeye Union High School Golden Hawk Marching Band received a Superior Rating and the Caption Award for Outstanding Musical Performance and Outstanding Overall Effect at the State Marching Band Festival for Division IV at Copper Canyon High School in Glendale on Nov. 8.

The final concert of the semester is on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Buckeye Union High School Performing Arts Center, 902 Eason Ave.
