Sun City Festival, a 3,300-acre master-planned community in Buckeye, swept the competition in four categories for The National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) Best of 50+ Housing Awards.
The awards showcase the latest trends in active adult housing and honor excellence and innovation in the design, development and marketing. At an awards ceremony on May 20, Sun City Festival won:
• Gold Award for Best Clubhouse
• Gold Award for Best Interior Design for a Clubhouse
• Gold Award for Best Advertising (TV Spot)
• Silver Award for Best Master Planned Community
NAHB awarded Sun City Festival during the Best of 50+ Housing Awards gala that was held in conjunction with NAHB's 2008 Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium in New Orleans.
