School to host poker night fundraiser

Location: St. Thomas Aquinas Church, St. Clare Hall, 13720 W. Thomas Road, Avondale.

Is it a fundraiser? If so, who or what does it benefit? Yes - all proceeds go to support the students at St. Thomas Aquians Grade School (needs include tuition assistance, school sports program, technology, etc.)

Cost to attend the event (donations, tickets, etc.): $35.00 contribution - tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.

Brief description of planned activities: Evening starts with a casual dinner followed by Texas Hold'em tournament. 50/50 raffle will also be available. All prizes awarded at end of evening.
