SMACNA Arizona, the Arizona Chapter of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, held a go-cart racing and networking event Sept. 25 for SMACNA Arizona contractors and their guests.
Stephen Heinrich of Advantage Forklift Services won first place.
Avondale resident Jeremy Hand of Q.C. Analytical Services captured second place while Brad McKinney of Kinetics claimed third.
SMACNA Arizona, which hosted nearly 60 people at the F-1 Race Factory indoor cart track in Phoenix, is an international association of union contractors in the sheet metal and air-conditioning industry representing 4,500 contributing contractor firms.
The organization is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and excellence in all facets of the sheet metal and air-conditioning industry.
To reach this goal, SMACNA Arizona has contributed more than $1 million statewide toward skills training and apprenticeships programs over the past three years.
