Farm workers center receives national honor

National Farm Workers Service Center Inc. (NFWSC) last month was presented the Most Valuable Partner Award from the U.S. Department of Housing Development.

The award is given in recognition of NFWSC's development of an affordable housing development for low-income seniors in Glendale named Casa Bill Soltero.

Casa Bill Soltero is a 61-unit multi-family property for seniors 62 and over.

A complete Resident Services program funded by the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust promotes access to health resources and health education for the resident seniors.
