Urban Campfire employee threatened with knife, police say

A man is suspected of assaulting an employee of Urban Campfire restaurant and bar after the employee asked the suspect to leave when he refused to purchase anything, Tempe police said.

Rudolph Villegas, 38, was arrested after he held a knife about three inches away from the employee's face on Monday, police said.

Police said Villegas was occupying a seat at the bar in the restaurant in the 900 block of East University Drive at about 10 p.m. An employee asked him to leave after he refused to buy anything. The suspect then threatened the employee with the knife, according to police.

The suspect was arrested suspicion of aggravated assault.
