7/19: 'Biggest Loser' casting call in Mesa

Casting directors for The Biggest Loser will be searching for contestants from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 19 at Superstition Springs Mall, 6555 E. Southern Ave., Mesa.

Last season, Ali Vincent of Mesa won the televised weight-loss contest.

Casting directors want "outgoing and charismatic" teams of two for the program's seventh season. Teams may consist of family members, spouses, dating or engaged couples, co-workers, former teammates or athletes, best friends, college students and retirees. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States.

The grand-prize winner gets $250,000.

The Biggest Loser casting teams guarantee the first 500 people in line will be seen. People will not be allowed to line up prior to three hours before the start of the open call. Candidates should bring non-returnable photos of themselves.

Ali Vincent, of Mesa, was the winner for season five of The Biggest Loser.
