Nearly all Valley cities accept paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, newspapers and other items for recycling. Reduce waste to landfills by separating the recyclable items. According to www.earth911.org, nearly anything is recyclable, from paper, aluminum to scrap metals to plastics, even fryer oil from restaurants can be made into biodiesel fuel.
For details on how you can help, visit your city's Web site to find out what items are acceptable for recycling, and then do it!
