Paradise Valley home sells for $5.2M

An auto dealership entrepreneur, an executive VP and COO of an insurance company in Salt Lake City, a neurologist and president of a printing company are among the buyers and sellers in this week's priciest home sales.

$5,200,000.

David E. Lange and Linda D. Lange, as trustees of the Lange Family Trust, paid cash for this 7,179-square-foot home with pool originally built in 2005 west of the McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Paradise Valley. The home was sold by Noel Novarro and Jill E. Novarro, as trustees of the Noel Novarro and Jill E. Novarro Family Trust.

$4,650,000.

Mitchell D. Pierce and Julie Pierce, as trustees of the Pierce Family Trust, paid cash for a 7,000-square-foot home with pool originally built in 1996 on the east side of the Paradise Valley Country Club in Paradise Valley. Mitchell Pierce is an entrepreneur in the auto dealership world. He opened Tempe Toyota in 1990 and grew his business into one of largest in the state. He then sold it to Auto Nation, becoming president of its southwest division until he partnered with Michael Little to open Avondale Nissan in 2004. The home was sold by Daniel L. Jones and Jane E. Jones, as trustees of the Jones Revocable Trust. Daniel L. Jones is executive vice president/chief operating officer and principal for Moreton & Co., a risk management and insurance company in Salt Lake City.



$3,725,000.

Todd and Mary Levine bought a new home at Mummy Mountain Park Subdivision west of McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Paradise Valley. Dr. Todd Levine is a neuromuscular neurologist who founded the ALS Clinic at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. The home was sold by Paradise Valley Holdings LLC of Paradise Valley, whose managing members are Richard and Linda Fisch.

$3,400,000.

Cedar Creek Properties Inc. of Fountain Hills, an investment company run by Dennis R. Zentner, paid cash for a new home on the southern edge of the Firerock Country Club in Fountain Hills. The home was sold by Greg R. Dias and his wife, Virginia, who paid $3.58 million for the home in February. Greg Dias is president and his wife is secretary of Greg Dias Inc., a publishing and printing company in Scottsdale.

$2,875,000.

Kenneth Kuk and his wife, Nancy, paid cash for a 3,842-square-foot home with pool originally built in 2005 on the north end of the Desert Mountain-Cochise Golf Course in Scottsdale. Kenneth Kuk is chairman, president and CEO of KMG America Corp., a subsidiary of Humana, a national health benefits company. The home was sold by Brian C. Wilkerson and his wife, Joni. Dr. Brian Wilkerson is a dentist and partner in the medical firm Wilkerson, Sanders & Anderson DDS LLC in Lawrence, Kan.

$2,700,000.

Neil and Ann Marie Spizizen bought a new home on the east side of the Pinnacle Peak Country Club in Scottsdale . The home was sold by PPP Development LLC of Phoenix.

$2,400,000.

Lance and Lori Mortensen paid cash for a 5,386 square-foot home originally built in 2007 in the Desert Mountain Phase 3 Subdivision of Scottsdale. The home was sold by Classic Properties VI LLC of Tustin, Calif.

$2,300,000.

Jason & Christine Wisniewski purchased a new home southwest of the Phoenician Golf Club in Phoenix. The home was sold by Brett J. Brimley and Michelle Brimley, as Trustees of the Brimley Family Revocable Trust.

$2,160,000.

Han Las Vegas Inc. of Litchfield Park paid cash for a 12,487 square-foot home originally built in 2007 on the south end of the Wigwam Golf and Country Club in Litchfield Park. The home was sold by Silverstone Nevada LLC of Los Vegas.

$2,130,000.

Randall A. Bushman bought a 5,027 square-foot home with 720 square-foot pool originally built in 2002 east of the Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale. The home was sold by John B. Schohl and Wendy E. Schohl, as Trustees of the John B. Schohl Revocable Trust 101 and Wendy E. Schohl Revocable Trust 101.
