The details are set on a college basketball double-header featuring ASU and UA.
The Sun Devils will take on IUPUI at 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 14 in downtown Phoenix at US Airways Center. The Wildcats will then face Gonzaga at 4 p.m. to round out the 2008 Desert Classic.
Arizona and Gonzaga last met in the second round of the 2003 NCAA Tournament; ASU and IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis) have never met.
Last season, IUPUI compiled a school-record 26 wins and .788 winning percentage. Head coach Ron Hunter is entering his 15th season; he previously served as the top assistant coach at his alma mater, Miami (Ohio), under Sendek.
Tickets are priced from $25 to $200 and are now available at the U.S. Airways Center box office, all Ticketmaster locations, Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 480.784.4444. Each school has been granted an allotment of tickets to sell to its respective fans, students and alumni.
