More photos of Jenna Bush's wedding
Jenna Bush looked sophisticated and stylish from head to toe at her ranch-style Texas wedding Saturday.
With just a few steps, you too can pull off her simple yet polished hairstyle. It's a look that works as well with a wedding dress as it does with a sundress. Here's how to get it:
1. Use a styling glaze to protect hair from the heat of the curling iron and to give hair extra hold, then divide hair into two horizontal sections, ear to ear, and clip up the top section.
2. With the bottom half, divide into three vertical sections, and curl each piece, starting at the base.
3. With the top half, divide into two horizontal sections, and clip up the top section. Divide the hair that is free into three sections, and curl each.
4. Take the top section, divide into four or five segments, and curl each. Make sure to curl the pieces of hair away from the face.
5. Let all the curls cool, then gently separate with fingers. Take top sections, tease at the roots for added volume, then spray with firm-hold hair spray.
6. Take about a 3-inch-wide segment of hair from the front of the crown and loosely braid or twist to the back of the head, secure with pins. Repeat on other side.
7. Once the twists are secure with pins and hairspray, nestle in flowers of choice where the two, twisted segments come together.
